We want to help make payroll submissions easier and more accurate. The employee next pay period date report has been designed to minimise the risk of missing employees from your payroll files.

How does the report work?

You can view and download a report that displays the next expected pay period start date for all employees with an active membership.

How to use the employee next pay period date report

These steps break down the full process of using the new report feature.

1: View the report on the platform

  • Log in to the employer platform

  • Go to the Contributions and payroll screen

  • Scroll down and click on Employee next pay period date

You’ll see a screen that lists all active employees for your company along with their next pay period start date. You can then click the filter button, on the top right hand side of the table to find specific information more easily.

2: Download full report

To download the full report:

  • Return to the Contributions and payroll screen

  • Scroll down and click on Exports

  • Find the Employee next pay period date report in the table and click to download it

Please note, the download will always include the entire report, it does not apply any filters or sorting you used on the platform. However, once downloaded, you can filter or sort the data in Excel or CSV format.

3: Compare with your payroll file

  • In Excel, filter the download report to show only the employees with the pay period you're about to upload.

  • Compare this list to your payroll file to identify any active employees who may have been missed.

This check helps prevent errors or omissions in your upload and supports smoother payroll processing.
