Letter of Authority to talk to you about my client's pension

A Letter of Authority (LoA) is a legal document that gives Smart Pension permission to release information and talk about a pension scheme to a third party, such as an adviser.

To enable us to discuss a pension scheme, please provide a valid Letter of Authority that is signed and dated by the member. The letter should explain what the third party is authorised to do and contain the member’s full name, policy number, address and date of birth.

Save time by contacting our Retirement and Transfer Team
Our UK Support Team is here to provide information about your workplace pension. They can also discuss the benefits of bringing your pensions into one place, but also explain the retirement options available at Smart Pension.

You can call our UK Retirement and Transfer Team on 0330 174 0643.

Alternatively, if you still would like to submit a Letter of Authority, you can email this to us at [email protected] or post it to:
